About the role
We are recruiting for a switched on, collaborative and delivery focused Principal Policy Advisor to join the NTC's Heavy Vehicle Reform team.
The team is focused on developing and supporting the delivery of national law reforms to ensure safe, sustainable and productive heavy vehicle and freight transport operations in Australia.
The Principal Policy Advisor undertakes research, develops policy and legislation, and supports the delivery of the Heavy Vehicle Reform Program, and in particular the vehicles and access reform work stream.

The NTC has a unique role in national land transport policy and law reform. We work across all governments and report via the joint Infrastructure and Transport Ministers' Meeting. We seek to harmonise national approaches to improve safety, productivity, environmental outcomes, consumer confidence and regulatory efficiency.
